DBL CASTLES frequently asked questions.

  • How do I book?

You can make a booking online via our website or via e-mail. You can also phone the office or mobile number if you have any questions.

  • Do you supply everything I need?

Yes we supply Safety mats, a 25 meter cable and the blower to inflate the castle also the sandbags (for indoor hires) or stakes to hold the castle in place.

  • What does the price include?

The price includes the bouncy castle and all ancillary equipment as well as delivery to your party and collection afterwards, there may be an extra charge if you are not in our free delivery area, but you will be told this on booking.

  • What if the Weather is Bad on the day?

Here at DBL Castles we have a Wet weather or Bad weather Policy, where, if the weather is not looking too good, high winds or heavy rain you can cancel the hire as long as we are not on the way to deliver. If the castle/inflatable is delivered and set up and then not used due to rain unfortunately there is no refund available. On the day of hire if we think the weather is not suitable we will give customers a courtesy call with the option of cancellation at no cost.

In the case of extreme high winds (above 24mph) or storms on the day of your hire we will give you a call to let you know that your booking is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. If you can find an alternative venue for an indoor hire we will be happy to offer an alternative unit for you. Health and Safety are of paramount importance to all at DBL Castles.

Please note we do like one hours notice, if you cancel after this time a charge will be made!.

  • Are you insured ?

Simple answer yes we carry a £5 million public liability & £10 million in employer's liability.

  • Delivery area:- I can't find my postcode in your look up, can I still book?

Yes you can, but you will need to call the office so we can manually add the booking to the system for you, a charge may be included for travelling to you dependant on distance.

  • How do I pay?

Payment is made on the day, on delivery of your unit/s cash or credit/debit card are accepted forms of payment. If paying via card can you please let us know in advance so we know to bring the card machine on the day thank you. No deposit is required. Payment can be made in advance if you like we can invoice you and you can pay via BACS.

  • How long is the hire for?

The hire price is for the day up to 6pm in the evening an extra charge of £30-00 is payable for units booked out later than 6pm up to 9pm, please call the office for more information. For indoor hires we work around the customer, the venue and the party times.

. Where do you place the bouncy castle?

Bouncy Castles outside will need to be set up on a REAL GRASS AREA ONLY we no longer do outside hires on hard standing due to the safety side of hires. For indoor venues we are able to provide sand bags in order to secure the inflatable.

Covid preparations are followed according to the governments recommendations and will change as and when needed. For indoor hires through the winter months face masks can be worn it is down to your own personal preference. Masks and hand sanitizer are carried in the vans and will be used as and when deemed necessary. Please if anyone has tested positive or been in contact with someone who has tested positive please call so we can re-arrange your booking, don't think you have to cancel we will work with you and your venue to re-schedule.
